new basics

1. So I  read about the MAC holiday collection from Rihanna but I wasn't really all that exited about it. But during my search for golden eyeliners I found this one. Actually I was looking for a super sparkle gold eyeliner but after looking for one at Dior, YSL, Chanel …[you name it] I decided to look no further and choose this Rose gold one. Im really happy I did cause it looked so good and lasted the whole night.
2. I've been looking for a new foundation since forever, but I'm really afraid to try new stuff. I usually have the MAC studio fix fluid and use that with the studio fix powder plus. This is really thick on the skin and it is oil-based, as I have a really oily face I wanted to try the face & body foundation.
3. The nail polish isn't really a new thing, but I just wanted a new bottle of quick dry gold nail polish (Essence color & go no121)
4. For some strange reason I buy a bottle of black nail polish every single week but they miraculously disappear every time. So bought another Black one from Catrice.
5. viva glam lipstick. What do I need to say about it? It's the best and longest lasting lipstick I  ever had ;)

FRIDAY THE 13TH: perfect for online shopping

Only one week left before the christmas holiday! 

I have some crazy party plans next holiday. I haven't been clubbing for  (what feels like) a decade now, so I just cant wait to get my  party on. 

December is in and we all know what that means: Spend all spare moments looking for the best dresses or any kind of party/christmas/new years eve- outfit and presents. 

For this years Christmas shopping I decided to avoid the crowded shopping malls, and I started online shopping for Xmas  last week. (got a little over-excited) 

This year I'll be celebrating New Years eve in London and even though I still have 20- something days left, I wanted my outfit all ready and set.  I was going for the type of outfit that allows me to dance like crazy, without having to check if everything is in place every 10 minutes ;) .

Shopping this outfit online took me over almost 4 hours - which I really should be spending on my homework -  but I think this will be my NYE-look:

Just a typical monday: High tea with my friend

As I all ready posted earlier this week: a friend of mine and I had the idea of a cozy high-tea date at my place.  

Since I’m aiming to save up some money for my possible internship abroad 

next school year, I decided to not go for a crazy fancy restaurant but just invited

 her at my place. I mean, I  still need to go shopping for clothes and shoes every now and then right ;)

So yeah, I tried to be some of a baking-queen. (Which I’m most definitely not) and kept it as simple as possible because I wasn’t really sure about my 

cooking skills but if I must believe my friend: it was delicious.

With the privilege of having no school on Monday; The weekend, Unfortunately  has come to an end, and I'm prepping for school tomorrow  On the bright side:  Only two more weeks left before the christmas break; getting up whenever I want, no school , no obligations ...JUST NOTHING. (except for that whole load of homework waiting for me to be done). 

And off course I’m counting down the days until my trip to London: so excited to see my family again!

1. Two classmates and I went out for lunch, drank some coffee and laughed over my weak driving skills . (One of them has a food-blog: check it out here )

2. The next day, I was planning on going out to dinner but because I was SO tired, we decided to just  cook dinner at home but in the evening we got kind of bored and  decided that there was enough room left for a desert. 

3. A friend of mine came over for a high-tea, came to the conclusion that Im not that much of a cook, no haute cousin dishes for me. Just made some simple wraps, pancakes and cheesecakes. 

4. Starbucks before school, no caption needed: early mornings require loads of coffee. 

5. My bestie made me some heart shaped pancakes, I thought they looked so cute, that I had to share it on instagram (assuming there is someone out there who's interested in my breakfast ;))

Christmas wishlist

Right now I'm really in the christmas mood, looking forward to those cozy days. Some free time, no school, no homework, a lot of parties and a lot of fooodd!
I just love everything around christmas - except for the decreasing temperature that is.Anyway, christmas is coming and that means I need some new christmas clothing. As i'm in my all-black phase, Ive been searching all over the internet for a little black dress. But unfortunately I just cant seem to find myself the perfect one (or two). I have been struggling to find myself Christmas the perfect LBD, so I decided to look around for an other style of dress.  And here is what I found.  what do you think?
